9 Day Itinerary Days

• Day 1 – Arrival | Ben Gurion → Galilee

Meet and assist by our representative from Raji Tours & Travel at Ben Gurion Airport, then drive north to the Galilee. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight in Tiberias/Nazareth.

• Day 2 – Nazareth, Cana & Mount Tabor

  Visit Basilica of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Church and the old city of Nazareth. Continue to Cana of Galilee, with an opportunity for married couples to renew their wedding vows. In the afternoon, ascend Mount Tabor, traditional site of the Transfiguration. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Galilee.

• Day 3 – Sea of Galilee & Ministry of Jesus

  Begin at the Mount of Beatitudes, commemorating the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Tabgha, the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes, and the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter. Visit Capernaum, including the ancient synagogue and St. Peter’s House. Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, followed by time at the Jordan River for renewal of baptismal promises. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

• Day 4 – Galilee → Jordan Valley → Dead Sea → Jerusalem.

  After breakfast, check out and travel south through the Jordan Valley. Visit Qasr al-Yahud, the traditional baptismal area on the Jordan River. Continue to the Dead Sea for a short experience and time to float in its mineral-rich waters. If time permits, visit Qumran before ascending through the Judean Desert toward Jerusalem. Stop at Mount Scopus for the first panoramic view of the Holy City. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem/Bethlehem.

• Day 5 – Bethlehem & Ein Karem

  Visit Church of the Nativity and the Grotto of the Nativity, followed by St. Catherine’s Church and Shepherds’ Field. Continue to Ein Karem, birthplace of St. John the Baptist, visiting the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Church of the Visitation. Return for dinner and overnight.

• Day 6 – Mount of Olives & Mount Zion

  Begin on the Mount of Olives with a panoramic view over the Old City. Visit the Church of the Ascension, Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit and Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Mount Zion to visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, the Upper Room/Cenacle and Dormition Abbey. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 7 – Old City of Jerusalem | Passion of Christ

  Enter the Old City and visit St. Anne’s Church and the Pools of Bethesda. Continue to the Chapel of the Flagellation and begin the Via Dolorosa, following the Stations of the Cross through the streets of the Old City. Arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, traditionally encompassing Calvary and the Tomb of Christ. Continue through the Christian Quarter and visit the Western Wall. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 8 – Bethany, Jericho & Judean Desert

  Drive toward Bethany, associated with Martha, Mary and Lazarus, and visit the Church of St. Lazarus. Continue through the Judean Desert to Jericho, with views of the Mount of Temptation and a visit to the traditional area of Zacchaeus’ sycamore tree. Depending on timing and group preference, include additional time at the Dead Sea or return to Jerusalem for free time in the Old City. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 9 – Jerusalem → Ben Gurion Airport | Departure

  After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Depending on the flight schedule, allow time for a final visit, shopping or Mass before transferring to Ben Gurion International Airport for departure.

12 Day Itinerary Days

• Day 1 – Arrival at Ben Gurion → Galilee

  Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, meet and assist, then travel north through the biblical landscapes toward Galilee. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight in Tiberias/Nazareth.

• Day 2 – Nazareth • Cana • Mount Tabor

  After breakfast, visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, Mary’s Grotto and St. Joseph’s Church. Continue to Cana of Galilee, commemorating Jesus’ first miracle, with an opportunity for married couples to renew their wedding vows. In the afternoon, ascend Mount Tabor, traditional site of the Transfiguration. Return to Galilee for dinner and overnight.

• Day 3 – Sea of Galilee • Capernaum • Tabgha

  Begin at the Mount of Beatitudes, commemorating the Sermon on the Mount. • Day 4 – Magdala • Caesarea Philippi • Jordan River

  Visit Magdala, associated with Mary Magdalene, including its archaeological remains and church. Continue north to Banias/Caesarea Philippi, where Peter proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah. Return toward the Sea of Galilee and visit the Jordan River for renewal of baptismal promises. Dinner and overnight in Galilee.

• Day 5 – Galilee → Caesarea Maritima → Mount Carmel → Jerusalem

  Check out and travel toward the Mediterranean coast. Visit Caesarea National Park, associated with St. Peter and St. Paul, including the Roman theatre and ancient harbor area. Continue to Mount Carmel and visit Stella Maris, associated with the Prophet Elijah and the Carmelite tradition. Proceed toward Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem/Bethlehem.

• Day 6 – Bethlehem • Shepherds’ Field • Ein Karem

  Visit Church of the Nativity and the Grotto of the Nativity. Continue to St. Catherine’s Church and Shepherds’ Field. In the afternoon, travel to Ein Karem, visiting the Church of the Visitation and Church of St. John the Baptist. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 7 – Mount of Olives • Gethsemane • Mount Zion

  Begin from the Mount of Olives for a magnificent view of Jerusalem. Visit the Ascension area, Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit and the Garden of Gethsemane with the Church of All Nations. Continue to Mount Zion for the Upper Room, Dormition Abbey and St. Peter in Gallicantu. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 8 – Old City • Via Dolorosa • Holy Sepulchre

  Enter Jerusalem’s Old City and visit St. Anne’s Church and the Pools of Bethesda. Continue to the Flagellation and Condemnation chapels and walk the Via Dolorosa, praying the Stations of the Cross. Conclude at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, traditionally encompassing Calvary and Christ’s Tomb. Continue through the Christian Quarter and visit the Western Wall. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 9 – Bethany • Jericho • Jordan River • Dead Sea

  Travel through the Judean Desert toward Bethany, associated with Martha, Mary and Lazarus. Continue to Jericho, with views toward the Mount of Temptation. Visit Qasr al-Yahud, the traditional baptismal area of the Jordan River. Continue to the Dead Sea, with time for floating and relaxation. Proceed to the Dead Sea for dinner and overnight.

• Day 10 – Masada • Qumran • Dead Sea

  Drive to Masada National Park. Ascend Masada and explore the remains of Herod’s fortress. Continue to Qumran, associated with the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Enjoy additional time at the Dead Sea before returning to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight.

• Day 11 – Jerusalem • Emmaus • Free Time

  Begin with a visit to a traditional Emmaus site, recalling the risen Christ’s appearance to two disciples on the road to Emmaus. Return to Jerusalem for additional pilgrimage time, Mass, shopping and free time in the Old City. A farewell dinner can be arranged in the evening. Overnight in Jerusalem/Bethlehem.

• Day 12 – Jerusalem → Ben Gurion Airport

  Breakfast and hotel check-out. Depending on the departure time, allow time for Shopping or a last visit in Jerusalem before transfer to Ben Gurion International Airport for the return flight.
